Working the Law of Attraction

Wow! I did the work this last week and I was astounded to discover how many times in the course of a day, my mind would either go to negative thoughts or drift towards things I did not want in my life. In addition to the image of the blue butterfly, I decided to use a gesture - a slight tug on my right ear - to break the pattern. A tug on the ear and an image of blue butterflies and the thoughts shifted. Then I would either focus on something pleasant in my surroundings, give thanks for blessings in my life, or think of something in the past, present, or future that made me happy. Once I noticed my emotions shift, even a little, I knew I was on the right track.

After seven days of paying attention to my emotions and their related thoughts, I am already feeling a shift in my vibration. By consistently breaking the pattern and shifting to more positive and good feeling things, I am already feeling happier than I did a week ago.

Good things that happened:
*A number of readers from around the country and the world said they loved my writing. (via an online critique website)

*I got a request for a rebirthing session. It felt good to be of service.

*I had a dream where I received a huge checks for one day's work.

*More money showed up.

*I completly revised a short story while losing all track of time and place. After getting it critiqued, I plan to send it to magazines.

This week, I plan to:
1. Continue to monitor my feelings and disrupt negative thoughts.
2. Write a blessing inventory, giving thanks for all the blessings of that day, however small, and all I appreciate in my life.
3.Look for a positive activity that makes me feel good. Something I can do or join and participate in regularly.
4. Pay attention and record the signs of good things coming into my life, however small. i.e. I also found a nickel this week! :-)

Until next week, happy journeys!
